MBM began operating in 1966 as a bulk importer and nationwide distributor of Canadian Forest Products. Today MBM continues to provide an industry leading ‘pick a pack’ service to its customers throughout the UK.

Although our strong ties with North America remain, market trends have meant that our supply base has broadened to include Scandinavia and the Baltic States.

We work primarily with a small number of selected sawmills with which we have long standing relationships. Regular mill visits ensure we maintain consistency of quality and supply.

Our association with the Port of Tilbury is equally long-standing and we are able to benefit from the deep-water dock - able to take ships from anywhere in the world. We charter our own vessels, which gives us complete control of loading, shipping and discharge. Vessels arrivie approximately every ten days, unloading onto both open and undercover storage.

Our stock items reflect the requirements of the construction and timber engineering industry. These include Graded Kiln Dried Carcassing, CLS, TR26, Battens, Large Dimension and Long Length Timbers and Ultrajoist. (www.ultrajoist.com)
