OSB Sterling Board
Oriented Strand Board (OSB) is a manufactured large chip based panel designed for construction and manufacturing purposes. OSB consists of chips of wood instead of a continuous veneer, but is markedly different from chipboard due to its specialised construction which gives it structural qualities more akin to plywood.
OSB Sterling board is a widely used and credited structural panel with the same performance stands as softwood plywood. It is generally more cost efficient than plywood, with superior moisture tolerance and reduced susceptibility to warping and ply separation. OSB also has good dimensional stability with no core voids or knots making it easy to work with.
OSB Sterling board is an environmentally certified product by the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council). With BBA (British Board of Agr�ment) providing European Technical Approvals that provide third party security and guarantee product performance in modern construction applications.
